Hello, I'm Bartek Makowski, a passionate software engineer specializing in PHP development.

I began my commercial journey as a freelance PHP developer from 2009 to 2012, honing my skills and delivering high-quality solutions for my clients. In January 2012, I joined Polcode as a PHP Developer, where I contributed to the development of various web applications and expanded my expertise in PHP frameworks and technologies.

Recognizing my exceptional skills and leadership abilities, I was appointed as the Director of Development and Lead PHP Developer at Advant Interactive in February 2014. During my tenure there until December 2022, I successfully led development teams and played a crucial role in delivering high-quality and scalable solutions.

In November 2022, I embarked on a new adventure as a Principal Engineer at Jigsaw Analytics / Jackrabbit Data Systems, where I continue to showcase my technical expertise and contribute to the growth and success of the company. With a strong focus on PHP development and a keen eye for innovation, I am dedicated to creating efficient and robust software solutions.

Outside of work, I have a range of personal interests that bring balance to my life. I enjoy immersing myself in the world of gaming on Sundays, exploring new destinations as an occasional traveler, and listening to the captivating sounds of metal music. Additionally, I have a profound love for dogs, practice calisthenics to stay fit, and have a deep appreciation for American cars and the beauty of Scandinavia.
